Power Accessories

Valley Tech’s power accessories line covers cable protection for event power runs across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, keeping distribution cable safe underfoot without cutting it or routing it out of the way of traffic. The inventory holds two cable mats — a 5 Channel Cable Mat / Yellowjacket for runs bundling multiple cables together and a 2 Channel Cable Mat / Yellowjacket for a smaller run — both designed to sit over cable crossing a walkway, roadway, or public area at a festival, market, or corporate event site. Ramping the cable under a mat instead of leaving it exposed protects the cable itself from vehicle and foot traffic while keeping the path level and visible for pedestrians and crews moving through the site. Our crew places mats as part of the overall power and cable plan for your event, matching channel count to how many runs need to cross in one spot. Request a quote for your event. Part of a bigger power build? See Power Distribution for how our crew plans and runs the full system.
