An 18-inch gooseneck condenser with a cardioid pattern and 50Hz–17kHz range, Shure’s MX418 uses an interchangeable cartridge system so the capsule can be swapped without replacing the whole gooseneck. It runs on standard phantom power through a built-in XLR preamp, low-profile enough to sit on a table without blocking sightlines.
