Shure’s Beta 52A is a supercardioid dynamic mic voiced specifically for kick drums and bass cabinets, with a 20Hz–10kHz response shaped for low end and a presence boost around 4kHz to cut through a mix. Its neodymium magnet and 174dB SPL handling mean it won’t distort even tucked tight inside a kick drum shell.
