Converter Rentals

Valley Tech’s converter rental inventory bridges video formats for broadcast and AV productions across the Lower Mainland, matching cameras, switchers, and recording or streaming gear that don’t share a common connection. The Datavideo DAC-70 handles general SDI and HDMI format conversion in the signal chain, while the AJA U-Tap SDI to USB 3.0 Interface takes an SDI feed directly into a laptop for webcasting, recording, or conferencing software without a capture card. The Decimator 12G-CROSS adds routing and cross-conversion for high-bandwidth 12G-SDI signals, keeping 4K and multi-format sources compatible as they move between cameras, monitors, and switchers on site. Our crew specs and carries these converters as part of the broader video package on conferences, galas, and corporate productions, so every source lands in the right format at the switcher or recorder.
