Valley Tech’s lighting control rental covers the consoles and signal-distribution gear that run every lighting rig we deploy across Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and the Lower Mainland. For programming and cueing, we stock Onyx NX Touch Kit and LightKey Kit control systems, giving our technicians touchscreen and software-based consoles suited to anything from a single-room corporate event to a multi-scene festival show. Signal gets to the fixtures cleanly: a PKN ARTNET2 two-universe node converts Art-Net to DMX for larger rigs, a Chauvet Opto Splitter opto-isolates and distributes DMX runs to protect the line from ground loops and fixture faults, and a Chauvet D-FI Hub sends wireless DMX to fixtures where running cable isn’t practical — trussed positions, outdoor stages, or rigs spread across a room. Our lighting technicians run this control layer on-site for every show, building cue stacks and patching universes to match the rig, whether it’s lighting the room, the stage, or the broadcast camera. Request a quote for your event. Need the rig programmed and run, not just delivered? See Concert & Festival Services for how our crew handles lighting control.
