Valley Tech’s conventional lighting rental covers the fixed-beam, theatrical-style lighting used for stage productions, galas, and corporate events across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. The core of the stock is the ETC Source Four ellipsoidal at 575 watts, fitted with interchangeable lens barrels — 19, 26, 36, and 50 degree — so our crew can dial in a tight spot for a podium or a wide wash for a full stage, with clean edges for gobos and framing. Alongside it, Strand Fresnel 6-inch 1kW fixtures deliver the soft-edged, blendable wash conventional Fresnels are known for, paired with barndoors to control spill and keep light off screens, audience sightlines, and camera lenses. Together these fixtures give our lighting technicians the classic theatrical toolkit for productions where a clean, controlled look matters more than moving-light effects — corporate keynotes, awards galas, and theatre-style staging.
